As a functional analyst, you will work in the IT department within an Agile team on various projects related to our digital transformation. You will be responsible for the analysis and support of new or existing systems and operational applications. This activity is at the heart of Touring, where you will play a central role which requires good interpersonal skills, given the many interactions with various profiles.

The scope of your role ranges from requirements analysis over design to implementation, testing, deployment and support to the end-user. You will set a high quality standard for your deliverables and actively seek collaboration to achieve Touring’s objectives:

  • You analyse the user's needs (user stories) in order to provide enough information in order to start technical studies and / or developments, taking into account the existing architecture, budget and timing;
  • The conversion of the requirements into functional specifications in a detailed functional analysis, respecting the modelling standards. This will form the basis of the technical analysis and/or work program of the developers;
  • You interact with business analysts and technical staff to build the best possible solution.
  • In close collaboration with the developers, you monitor the programming and implementation of the application at the functional level;
  • You will also write test cases, organize the functional integration tests and run test campaigns to verify if the solution meets the needs of the end users.


You are someone who has a strong desire to make work fun and enjoyable, and whereby you will enhance the collaboration with various profiles.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or Business Engineering, Economics;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar job;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Welcoming change and transformations with a flexible attitude and positive mindset ;
  • Autonomous and a self-learner ;
  • Result & client-oriented with a creative mindset ;
  • Dedicated to improving existing components and practices to deliver added business value ;
  • Sharing what you know and learn, team and customer service oriented ;

  • You have proven verbal and written proficiency in French or Dutch and English.

Technical Competences


  • UML modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Sparx Entreprise Architect or a similar modeling software


  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence
  • Past experience in the Assistance Sector is a plus
  • Experience in working in an Agile Scrum team
  • BPMN/CMMN basic knowledge
